Median Home Price in October 2016
Orlando median home prices have risen 14% over last year to an average of $205,000. Less bankruptcies and short sales have lead to a healthy improvement in property values since 2015. Cities like Oviedo, Winter Springs and Winter Park have experienced even higher home value growth over the year.
Homes Sold in Orlando in October 2016
There were 2,654 homes sold in October 2016 and that is 8% less than in October 2015. Now this number may have you think that the market is doing worse but as a matter of fact this is directly attributed to the lack of homes for sale. There are less homes for sale now than there were this time last year.
Orlando Homes For Sale
Orlando inventory for homes has decreased 12% year over year. There are less people selling which puts more pressure on buyers to submit strong offers on properties of interest. It is not uncommon to get multiple offers on a property within a week of entering the market.
