Hi, I’m Marcie and I’m currently sitting outside on my lanai sipping coffee (but wishing it was wine) in sunny Oviedo, Florida. I’m a Central Florida Realtor, wife to husband Drew, and #boymom to Archer and Beau, along with two Shih Tzu puppies, Gatsby & Daisy (named after F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, of course!) I’m a native midwestern girl, transplanted to Florida where I attended the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), met my husband, and never left.

My passion is Home. The physical walls themselves, but also the togetherness, memories, and love you create inside those walls. The financial success of owning those physical walls, however, is truly the icing on the (chocolate) cake. Educating first time home buyers, investors, and families looking to upgrade or downsize, on the ins and outs of homeownership is something my clients know me for. (And my love for a nice cold glass of white wine on a hot, Florida day!)

I got into real estate with a mission to help buyers and sellers make smart and financially savvy real estate decisions. My “all in” educational approach ensures my clients are in-the-know on the home buying or selling process from day one. I treat each transaction like it was my own and am fiercely protective of my clients and their money. It’s a privilege I truly don’t take lightly.

When not showing homes or negotiating real estate contracts, my life revolves around my boys. Being a mommy and wife is the single largest source of happiness and joy in my life (followed closely by an expensive glass of red wine!) I love to cook, entertain, decorate, shop, and read. My friends will tell you I throw fun and stylish dinner parties, and my husband will tell you I spend too much money! I love to volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank, dive into romance novels at Playalinda beach, and go on adventures to discover the food, culture, history, and nature of our beautiful state of Florida.

Whether you’re looking to relocate to our sunny paradise, you’re a first-time home buyer wanting to establish roots here in Central Florida, or perhaps looking to upgrade or downsize, my sole mission is to create an easy, non-stressful, buying or selling experience that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment and pride. My clients have a way of becoming my friends and watching them achieve real estate success lights the fire in my belly to continue to educate and serve buyers and sellers in the Central Florida community.

My Origin Story

I grew up in the Midwest, moving from a small town in the middle of nowhere Ohio, to the greater Chicago area, then down to Jacksonville, FL, and finally to Orlando where I met and married Drew, the love of my life. Drew came from a small town where he lived his entire life until he went to college. I was (am) envious of the roots and ties he has to his hometown. If I went back to any of the places I used to live, I would barely know a soul. Drew runs into three old friends, his second-grade teacher, and his football coach just from stepping foot inside the local brewery!

When I moved to Orlando for college, I didn’t know one single person, not even my roommate! I was determined to carve my own path, create my own sense of community, and make Central Florida my permanent home. Moving so frequently over the years taught me home isn’t the four walls you live in, but rather the family, memories, and love you share within those walls. But the financial security of owning those walls, and the sense of belonging you get from establishing roots in a community is what drove me to sell real estate. In a world that can feel so distant and transient, having a sense of belonging, with neighbors to call on for a cup of sugar, and a place to come back “home” to, is something I have vowed to never take for granted.

I’m extremely passionate about the Central Florida community, specifically our sweet town of Oviedo where Drew and I have now called home for six years. When we purchased our first home, we knew quite literally nothing. We were pretty much in the dark about the whole process, and truth be told, to this day, I still have questions about that transaction! I’ve always had an interest in real estate and design (hello HGTV) and made it a personal goal that when we were ready to sell our starter home, I wanted to be the licensed real estate professional negotiating the transaction.

Low and behold, I actually quit my full-time, cushy outside corporate sales job, to pursue real estate in order to make that goal a reality. I had a barely one year old baby on my hip, and our world was just hurtled into a global pandemic, and just three months in, I found out I was pregnant again!

Despite the whirlwind start to my real estate career, I wake up every single day with an overabundance of gratitude and blessings for the flexibility my career allows in order to serve my family as wife and mommy, and my clients as their real estate professional, friend, and confidant.
